Xcode

In addition to iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15, watchOS 8, and macOS Big Sur 11.3, Xcode 13 includes SDKs for iOS 9, tvOS 9, and watchOS 2 as well as support for on-device debugging. MacOS 11.3 or later is required for Xcode 13 installation.

New Features

⦁With Xcode 13, you can develop concurrent applications with Swift, take advantage of continuous integration and delivery with Xcode Cloud, create and view documentation in Swift frameworks using DocC, and more.

⦁On the command line, you can now use cktool to interact with Cloud Kit database schema and records. For a list of available commands, run xcrun cktool –help.

⦁As of Xcode 13, the XIP archive is about 15% smaller for the same content. It can be expanded with Archive Utility, or with zip on the command line.

Resolved Issue

When the documentation window has more than one tab open or is in full-screen mode, keyboard shortcuts now work as expected in Xcode.
